PLEASE HELP ME SAVE MY FURRY FRIEND!!

Hello World! My Name is Chris. My friend advised me to try this as this is a move of desperation rather than fundraising. I have very little time so I'm hoping anyone out there can help.  Quick history about my kitty. His name is Mimi and he's 11. He's been healthy all his life until a year ago he was diagnosed with CKD(chronic kidney disease) Mimi received inpatient treatment and fully recovered! Just recently he relapsed and so I took him to see his vet.  I now have him on fluids and a special diet. However his yucky feelings give him no desire to eat. The dr. has recommended that inpatient care is necessary. They will administer fluids continuous for 3 to 5 days.  Please know that Mimi is very  healthy otherwise, and after the treatment and home care, he will have another 3 to 6 yrs.  of quality life. If he doesn't receive proper treatment soon I'll have to put him to sleep. He still has a lot of life left. He is my everything!! And to save his life.. $2000 is more than worth it. After a couple of visits to the vet and the countless different foods and supplements I bought to try and get him to eat. My funds are exhausted. Mainly because I'm laid off and on unemployment at the moment. Our company along with it's land was bid out by the city. I have recently been hired on to a new company and I will make good money doing what I do and further supporting Mimi's recovery and quality lifestyle won't be an issue for me.
