Please Help Me Raise Funds for A Used Vehicle

My name is Jonathan Lee. I was involved in an accident on Friday, April 28th in which I was at fault and my car (a 2000 Toyota RAV4) was totaled. I did not have collision coverage so I won't be receiving any compensation in regards to the loss of my vehicle. As I turned onto a busy thoroughfare, I was distracted by an oncoming ambulance and didn't notice that a truck just ahead of me had pulled over to the side of the road. By the time I noticed I barely had time to react. I slammed on the brakes and attempted to swerve off of the side of the road to avoid hitting them but it was too late. I slammed into the back of their vehicle. There was only one person in that vehicle and I was the only person in mine. Both of us were shook up and sore from the accident but neither required hospitalization.

Any medical treatment I've received in relation to the accident is not covered by my insurance. I have also had to miss a considerable amount of work as I recover. I slammed into the steering wheel at approximately 30-35 miles per hour which has left me in a great deal of pain. I'm being treated for it but have not fully recovered. It is unfortunate that this happened at all but it couldn't have come at a worse time. I only have a part-time job at present, which is my only source of income at the moment. Unfortunately, savings are also at a low ebb, creating a situation where it is difficult to make ends meet. In the meantime, I'm reaching out to friends and loved ones to see if they can chip in whatever possible to help me out with a new vehicle and living expenses until I can return to work. No one is under any obligation to donate anything but any finanical assistance would be appreciated if at all possible. Thank you.
