Please help me pay to get my car fixed

Hello there, My name is Shelby and I've recently encountered very troubling car issues. As soon as winter rolled around I came to the realization that my car was not shifting into any variation of 4WD ( 4HI or 4LO ) and being someone who lives in Montana its essential to have driving around during our winters. Especially since our winters can last anywhere between October until March or April.
As of 10/26/30 my car is currently being looked at to determine the issue and the biggest fear is that it will be a Transfer Case issue which can cost around $2,500-$2,800 give-or-take. Essentially this GoFundMe is me preparing for the worst because I dont have that kind of money available in the slightest and neither does my mother or anyone else in my family.
If its worst case scenario I would need the funds basically as soon as possible as I especially need my car in order to get to work (my town doesnt have good public transport and it doesnt even go to where my job is located) because I work 39 hours a week and my mom also works full time. I've been able to borrow her truck for the past two days but that system isnt ideal when we BOTH need vehicles for work and various purposes.
I've never done GoFundMe before so I dont know if theres a way to refund people or how that works - but if there is no way to do that I'll donate the remainder of the money to a charity such as The Trevor Project, YWCA USA, or even locally sourced non-profits such as the local History Club or Archives.
If youre able to donate please know that I will forever be thankful and probably wont be able to say thank you enough times.
