Help Martha rebuild after heartbreaking home fire.

After talking with Martha and her friends, we have revamped this go fund me page.

On Easter Monday, our dear friend Martha's house in the regional NSW town of Moruya was gutted by fire, leaving her and her preschool-aged daughter without their home of 10 years and most cherished possessions.

She has lost everything. Her home, along with all its contents, has been reduced to ash or ruined by smoke damage. To add to the heartbreak, just three months prior, Martha had to give up her home insurance cover due to the rising cost of living.

The fire, sparked by an electrical fault, quickly became uncontrollable. Like many older houses, Martha's home contained asbestos, which adds significant expense to the clean up costs.

Our goal is to provide Martha and her daughter with a fresh start by raising enough funds to cover the asbestos removal and begin the rebuilding process.

Martha has always given to her community, known for her generosity and selflessness. She's been a member of the local NSW Rural Fire Service brigade for a decade, one of the many heroes who worked tirelessly during the devastating Black Summer bushfires to help save the property and livelihood of others. As her friends, we are so thankful for everything she has done, and hope we can now return the favour to her.

We're reaching out to spread Martha's story far and wide, hoping that as many people as possible will join us in supporting her. No amount is too small, and every dollar will go directly to helping Martha rebuild her life.

While we can't replace all the lost memories or the house she deeply cherished, we can ease the trauma and show Martha the power of human kindness and compassion.
