Please Help Lisa and French Roast Bob

Lisa and French Roast Bob are some of the kindest, sweetest people I know. And while they are too humble to ask, I am not (and I have no shame :) ).

 

Lisa was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in early September of 2021 after suffering for more than 4 months with severe exhaustion and loss of appetite, having been misdiagnosed with Epstein-Barr virus. Her last round of chemo was three days before the dawning of 2022. And while Lisa is getting better every day, the repercussions of 10+ months of lost wages instead of unemployment ( there’s no unemployment for gig workers), 2 months of hospitalization across 2 different ICUs, Bob having to give up jobs to care for the love of his life, travel to and from appointments in Portland, and the medical bills insurance refuses to cover... they are struggling to make ends meet and keep the lights on. They could use the help of their friends as they heal and get back on their feet. Please give whatever you can afford, whether it's $5 or $500. I, for one, am really looking forward to seeing them running the coffee cart at GNE and heading up the Compost and Recycling tent at Common Ground this year. It's just not the same without them.
