Please help Liana Secondino

As you may have heard or read, a young woman named Liana Secondino was critically injured, and her father killed, in a horrific act of domestic violence.

Liana and I both worked at a thrift store in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Though we only worked together briefly over the summer, and again these past few weeks while she was on winter break, I was impressed by her cheerful demeanor and enthusiastic willingness to help with any task, no matter how onerous.

Liana faces an uphill battle for survival and an uncertain future. I am committed to helping her recover, both physically and mentally, from this incident. Some of your generous donations may also go towards paying funeral expenses for Carlo Secondino, Liana's father.
