Pls HELP Kassandra fight cancer - Por favor ajude

In 2018 Kassandra, my daughter (28), started experiencing headaches. An eye test in January 2019 and a CT scan later confirmed a dreaded brain tumour.

She was operated that same month at Queens Square in London to remove 95% of a grade 2 gemistocytic tumour. A post-operative infection extended her stay in hospital and after a few more complications, she had further surgery in September for a cranioplasty. These were tough times, but her health improved and we counted ourselves very lucky as life almost returned to normal. By February 2020, she was put on a course of radiotherapy and oral chemotherapy to eradicate the remaining 5%.

This year, 2022, Kassandra began to suffer headaches again, along with brain fog. We are totally devastated to discover the tumour has grown back more aggressively. It has developed into a glioblastoma and carries a prognosis that is very difficult for us all to accept. Kassandra is currently on a gruelling course of intravenous chemotherapy in an attempt to control and hopefully reduce the tumour.

Kassandra has been through unimaginable pain these past 4 years, yet remains determined and positive in winning this battle. She never complains and instead encourages the family with her incredible strength. We are so proud of her and her very supportive partner Mike. Our biggest wish is to see them move forward together, with a healthy and happy life for many more years to come.

To give Kassandra the best chance, we are seeking an innovative and ground-breaking treatment in Germany.

This treatment, the IOZK-Immunotherapy mobilises the body’s own immune response. With the aid of the IO-VAC vaccine the immune system recognises the tumour cells, attacking them without destroying healthy cells.

Calculated to cost around £170 thousand (170,000) excluding accommodation and travel, this treatment is an inaccessibly small fortune for any typical family.

A minha filha Kassandra, tem travado uma luta contra um tumor no cérebro desde Janeiro de 2019. Depois de operações e tratamentos, a sua saúde melhorou e pensava-se que o cancro tinha sido erradicado.

Agora, em 2022, a luta está de volta pois o cancro regressou e desta vez é mais agressivo do que anteriormente.

A Kassandra terá de viajar para a Alemanha, para melhor ser tratada com um tratamento inovador.

Para ter acesso a este tratamento de imunoterapia, é necessário uma quantia monetária de (£170,000 / €200,000) que não nos é facilmente acessível.
