Please help House fire a Devastating loss
My sister and brother-in-law Leslie Flagg and Michael Flagg lost everything they own in a house fire last night on N. Saginaw St. in Owosso Michigan. Everyone made it out safe except for their beloved kitty Gus.My sister Just recovered from cancer and hasn’t been able to work.. Gus was my sis emotional support Cat. She is devastated that he is gone. He was a great help to her when she was going through her cancer treatments . She recently as of last week diagnosed with diabetes.
They thought they left 2019 behind them but 2020 isn’t starting off great. They do have renters insurance but that only covers a small amount. The majority of that will be for a down payment and first months rent for a new apartment. That leaves them with replacing everything else out of pocket . If you can spare any amount please do. Last night my mother and stepfather's nightmare came to reality. Their home of 12 years caught fire and lost all of their belongings. Thankfully both Leslie Flagg ( my mom) and Michael Flagg (my stepdad) made it out in time due to a brave neighbor who beat on the doors until they woke up and got out of the house safely. Unfortunately only 2/3 of the pets survived. The fire started around 10:00 pm and rekindled around 5:00 am which engulfed the house in flames. They do have house insurance, but unfortunately that doesn't cover nearly half of the cost to recover their belongings.
