Dear friends,
We lost a great man yesterday. My brother, Chris, passed away after a lengthy illness at the age of 32. Chris brought so many people together that are now lifelong friends; some have even gone on to get married and have children of their own all because he brought them together. As his sister, I'm so thankful that he also got to have 2 great loves of his life: his fiancée, Hilary Duncan & her son, David John. Hil never left Chris' side, even when his illness got very bad. She was and still is his best friend. Hilary has had a very rough few months. Prior to Chris being admitted to the Grace Home, she was in a very bad car accident and her car was totaled. She has had to miss a lot of work due to the accident and being by Chris' side during his final days. If that wasn't enough, she had a dental emergency this week and had to miss more work. Let me tell you, Hil has shown more love, strength, and courage than I have ever witnessed. She was Chris' angel on earth, and now he is her's from above. Let's surround Hilary with love and support while she is grieving her lost love, caring for her son, and getting a reliable vehicle; all of the funds collected will go solely to that purpose. Thank you in advance. Our family has been in awe of the love and support that our family, friends, and community have shown. We love each and every one of y'all.
