Please help the family of deceased Br Shahriar

Dear Respected Brothers / Sisters,

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

Our beloved brother Chowdhury Shahriar Mahmud returned to Allah SWT on the 28th of December 2022 at 5:49 PM in Concord Hospital Sydney at the age of 53 after battling Cancer for almost five years and three months (inna lillahe wa inna ilaihe razeun - to Allah we all belong and to Allah we shall all return)

Bangladeshi-born Br. Shahriar was a very sincere and devoted Muslim and very active in dawah work until the end of his life, Alhamdulillah. He left behind his wife and four school-going daughters.

In 2017, during a routine medical check-up for Hajj preparation trip, he was diagnosed with kidney cancer followed by colon cancer. After two major surgeries in the same year, his health condition did not permit him to work anymore.

He was the only earning member of his family. During the last five years of his sickness and unemployment, he spent most of his savings. Now in his absence, his family needs our help to arrange a place to live in and also to continue the studies of 4 daughters in the same Islamic School they go to.
