Please help Ember Stucky

Donation protected
This is the story as told by Embers mom, Amber. On August 8th around noon, Ember was crying like she was in pain. We thought it was gas. She calmed when held, farted, and settled down. After a little while, her skin color seemed off, so I picked her up. Her hands and feet were cold. Her cheeks were cool but her head was hot. She wouldn't suck on my finger, her lips felt cool inside. We couldn't wake her or get her to respond. Chad patted her back and when her eyes opened, they were glassy and unfocused.
We rushed her to ER. She was in a room immediately and soon about 10 medical personnel were poking and prodding. Getting this labs, giving fluids. She had 3 seizures while she was there. Medicated her. She was intubated and they were breathing for her. Xrays, CT scan. Spinal tap.
They need to airlift her to Iowa City.
She has Bacterial Meningitis and she is septic.
She is stable now. On three antibiotics while labs are working on getting the exact bacteria. They say we caught it early. Neurologist says he is optimistic.
Our little baby girl has lines everywhere. She is sedated. We are scared and have been crying on and off. It may be weeks before this nightmare is over. As long as she continues to be stable and the antibiotics do their job.
I just want to post to let anyone we haven't contacted directly know.
