Please help Edilio Vaz rebuild the family house

As the hymn goes, "God moves in a mysterious way", and "the clouds you so much dread / are big with mercy, and shall break / in blessings on your head". But for Edilio Vaz, a driver at the met office in tiny Principe island (Gulf of Guinea), the clouds broke with a violent downpour instead, and it was his precariously built house that fell on the head of his family and friends as they were celebrating the baptism of Edilio's children. It was a small miracle than no one was seriously injured, but Edilio's family in now homeless.

Still along the lines of the hymn, I will "judge not the Lord by feeble sense", but I will trust you instead for your grace. The tightly knit community of Principe will join hands to do the work, but they cannot afford the bricks and mortar. Please make a contribution to support the purchase of the building materials.
