Please help me help Pakistan Flood Victims

As you know, South-West of subcontinent India has been devastated by 2-month long rains. All four provinces of Pakistan, Sindh, Baluchistan, Punjab, and KPK are badly ruined or vanished.

Sindh and Baluchistan being under the eye of the storm, have been badly battered.

Moreover, Sindh province being at the tail of Sinhu-Nadi (Indus River), all flood waters from Afghanistan, K2, and northern areas pass through Sindh to merge into the Arabian Sea. The mighty INDUS RIVER – 19th in the world – is swollen so severely none has ever seen it before.

CURRENTLY, SEARCH AND RESCUE is underway, and more water is expected in a few days to pass through SindhuNadi

Most of rural Pakistan is almost 90% underwater; in other words, completely devastated.

Destruction is so vast that government alone cannot manage this colossal scale of an unexpected disaster. Even USA’s FEMA cannot handle hurricane or wildfire disasters alone. Therefore, in this current situation, the most effective help is from foot soldier volunteers. Similarly, volunteer international and local NGOs are at their best.

My SOOMRO FOUNDATION is a very small scale dedicated to supporting education tuition and stipend, a non-profit organization registered in California, USA. I am imploring friends and colleagues to help me help flood victims in Pakistan.

I am collecting donations for volunteers to distribute food rations to families in shelters, schools, or who have moved to heights. There is ZERO overhead; all funds are spent through my personally known friends. The devastation does not segregate based on religion, caste, or class; so does the rescue.

I live in Silicon Valley, California; I plan to be in Pakistan in September. Funds will be spent for food and other necessities with NO OVERHEAD EXPENSES, 100% alums to victims.

Please help me help flood victims.
