Please help Dan Araiza & Family

Our Dad, Dan Araiza reported to work on July 30th, they checked his temperature and It showed he had a Fever. He was sent home.  The next day, our Dad called out sick , which he never does, and continued to show signs of constant fever. His primary Dr. was called and the Dr. advised us to give him tylonel, plenty of fluids and to get him tested for possible Covid- 19. On August 2nd Our Dad  was tested and on August 3rd he received his results and they were positive for Covid-19. By this time, our Dad was experiencing not just fever, but, also Nausea, Chills, dizziness, loss of appetite, loss of taste and smell, diarrhea and now experiencing vomiting. He also was starting to have shortness of breath and trouble breathing.  With all of  that, we rushed him to the Emergency, where he was admitted and immediately put on oxygen. For the next 10 days our Dad was conscious and on oxygen with an array of other medications given by the Dr.’s. Our dad seemed to be getting better, till we received the call that our Dad’s Health was taking a turn and not for the better. On August 13th, the Dr. advised that our Dad had Pneumonia related symptoms, high blood pressure, small issues related to his diabetes as well as signs of infection and his fever had returned.  On August 14th at 5AM they Informed us that our Dad would have to be put on croning to drain fluid and that our Dad was going to be sedated and put on a Ventilator. Our Dad has been sedated and on a ventilator now for 8 days and in ICU for almost 20 days now and counting. We are taking it one day at a time, trying to be strong as our Dad is fighting for his life. We are a family full of Faith and continue to pray for our Dads full recovery from Covid-19! In the interim Our Mom and his three kids can use some help, as Medical Bills and other household bills now are piling up and our Mom is now the sole provider.  We don’t know how long our Dad is going to be in the hospital, but, please continue to pray for our Dad and our family.  God Bless.
