Please Help Ash (and Lulu) Walk Again

My name is Ruth, and I'm fundraising for my kitten Ash, who needs emergency FHO surgery.

Without warning, Ash lost the use of his back legs and was diagnosed with Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease. He is currently in a lot of pain. His back right leg is fractured, and strict crate rest is essential. Deterioration of his hips is progressive and will worsen with movement, so he has to stay as still as possible and needs pain and anti-inflammatory medication to keep him comfortable until he can get surgery.

Ash and his sister were rescued at three months old and are inseparable. Before his diagnosis, they spent all their time running, jumping and playing with each other. It's hard for her to understand why he can't play with her. She is depressed now and isn't eating like before.

At only 17 months old, this intelligent, loving, and affectionate young cat deserves the best quality of life. I wouldn't usually ask for help, but the surgery and follow-up care will cost approximately $3500 best estimate.
