Please help Alizah and her family!

My name is Nicole and this little girl is 12 year old Alizah, daughter of my wonderful friend Melissa. Alizah has a rare genetic condition called Conradi-Hünermann syndrome (google it) and was not expected to live much past birth, but has defied the odds consistently!  Alizah is a wonderful, kind, smart, and very strong girl.  She is also a straight A student! Due to scoliosis and other urgent issues, Alizah needed to have a very involved surgery by a team of doctors which took place on June 28th, 2018.  The surgery was expected to be 10 hours and would require Alizah to remain in the hospital for a few weeks to recover.  The very difficult surgery finally concluded after 17 stressful hours (far from 10!).  During the surgery, Alizah was paralyzed.   Her mother Melissa, her 2 siblings, and family, are very thankful Alizah made it through surgery and has started the recovery process.  I am asking for your help to get Alizah everything she now needs being paralyzed to live a somewhat normal life.  Going from a child walking into the hospital for surgery, to leaving in a wheelchair, is nearly the most life changing event that could happen to a family. Alizah has been at Riley since the surgery and is expected to be released at the end of August and will continue rehabilitation. Melissa has been at her side and not working since june 28th. As you can imagine, there are many, many, many changes needed to Alizah's house before she comes home, and many, many, many medical & therapy bills. The main floor of the 1900s house needs new doorways and the bathroom renovated for the wheelchair to start..... She also requires a special bed to keep her from being sedentary. An intricate wheelchair ramp will need to be built to the rear of Alizah's house. All of these donations will be used for all of the above mentioned necessities. Please help this awesome little girl!
