Please Help Ted Continue Working

My friend Ted suffered a horrific sports injury (broken leg), that ended his sports career, and also required major surgery.  Due to unknown factors, Ted not only started suffering from compartment syndrome, but he later contracted sepsis.  As it stands now, he is headed to a hospital in Syracuse for a specialized surgical procedure, what will be his 7th total surgery since the injury, to remove a dead muscle from his leg, and he won't have use of the foot on that leg at all without another surgery, which doctors don't recommend happen for at least another 3 years.

When all is said and done, Ted will be able to return to work & work-from-home (he is an Information Technology Specialist for New York State Office of IT Services), but only if he is able to purchase a computer powerful enough to do what he needs to do, which do not come cheaply unfortunately.  That's where you all come in.  Any spare dollar you have that you are willing to donate, will go a long way to help this man & his family survive.  Ted had been saving up for such a computer on his own anyway, but all their savings and current monies are going towards medical bills and keeping them afloat while Ted is in & out of the ER, and any assistance is BEYOND greatly appreciated.  Thank you!
