Help Lucy See Again

At one year old Lucy was rescued from an abusive situation and put into a loving home. Her new owner passed away after two years and she was placed again into another home.
      A couple months ago she fought for her life after she had a ketoacidosis attack. Her chances didn’t look good but she fought and won that battle. It was both amazing and humbling to witness her determination through it. Diabetes was the culprit and she now takes two shots daily to manage her insulin level.
      Then one morning she woke up blind with cataracts. Losing her eyesight is taking a toll on her.  Diabetes is cruel. 
      Her family took her to a specialist and was relieved to hear that an operation was available to save her sight forever. They have a chance at getting their happy little girl back! Unfortunately her family does not have the money for this procedure. It is estimated between 3600.00 and 3900.00 dollars but it is a permanent fix.
