Dear St. Peter’s parishioners and online friends of the parish,
It is already a year and a half since we have all been hit by the Coronavirus Pandemic. Throughout this time, our parish has continued to be a beacon of hope, not only to the families in our parish, but also to those who tragically lost loved ones during this period and whom we assisted in the celebration of their funerals under most difficult circumstances.
Our priests and parish staff have worked relentlessly to keep our parish offices open every day since the start of the pandemic, celebrate the sacraments without missing a beat, and bring the presence of Christ to the sick, the fearful and the mourning. Furthermore, our Food Pantry, which assists innumerable families, never missed a distribution, even though the volunteers are mostly elderly.
Knowing that many people find it easier to donate to their favorite causes online, we have created this GoFundMe page towards that end. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to our parish. You may also continue to give through your typical methods if you prefer, such as through parish envelopes, which you can drop off in secured donation-box in the Church, or at the Rectory Offices.
In the certainly that the Lord will not be outdone in generosity, I remain,
sincerely yours in Christ,
Fr. Ivan Sciberras
