Please Assist Robin Anderson

My very dear friend Robin Anderson is 56 years old.
She does a lot of things; she has enjoyed a long career in financial services, she's an amazing Mom and a dog lover.  She will go on and on if you let her about the benefits of The Bar Method and the state of our government. She loves to watch Homeland. She's lived all over the place and she's never met a stranger.
She has also been living with advanced cancer for three years.
In 2014, Robin was diagnosed with breast cancer, an illness that has struck many women in her family.  After nine successful months of surgery and treatment, Robin participated in the 2015 AVON 39 Mile Walk in NYC to End Breast Cancer.  On the second day of the walk, she learned she had pneumonia, which lead to a lung cancer diagnosis later in the week.  After an initial treatment, an unsuccessful surgery and additional post-surgical treatments through 2016, Robin worked to heal and regain strength.
As time went on, despite vigorous treatments, optimism, and a very healthy lifestyle, this lady developed brain cancer.
For those of you who know her, you know that she is an extraordinary human being.  She is smart, cheerful, loving, unbelievably strong and always puts her friends and family before herself.
She underwent emergency surgery this last February to remove the cancer in her brain, which was successful.  But, with further testing, the cancer spread in her lungs once again. Thus, she needs to get her strength and “fighting weight” back before she can attempt vigorous treatments, like chemotherapy again.
Because of this, she has been unable to work for the last year and will not be returning to work. Some of her medical expenses are not covered and with the everyday necessities of life, money is tight and getting tighter with her need for some additional required services and support.
Robin is one of the strongest, most selfless people I have ever known and is always there to give her love and support or the shirt off her back to anyone that needs it.  I have witnessed this so many times from her, especially during her illness.  I know many of you have been the receiver of her kindness and generosity.
Now, it's time that we send back some of that love and support to Robin.  Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated.  Everything we can do to help and surround her with love is what is most important so she can focus on her son and getting strength.
Please spread the word. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
