Playa El Palmarcito is known for its beautiful private-like beaches and great surf, but even more for the people! Palmarcito draws you in because of the community. Whether its enjoying a surf lesson/local cuisine/beer at Donde Tiolas, a comfy night beach front stay in Las Arenas or palapa-covered picnic at Totos, you leave remembering the beauty, good, vibes, and feeling like you're family.
Today, a tragic scene of events, unfortunately, has brought total destruction to the places of both residences and businesses. There are only pieces remaining of the once-existing beach front that Tiola, Toto, and Nina Carmen's family called home. The sun sets today leaving these families with nothing more than their own person. All belongings were consumed by the fire.
We are writing you today asking for your support in emergency funds to help these families rebuild their lives in El Palmarcito. Immediate funds will go to providing food, clothes, water, shelter, and workers compensation. The goal with these funds is to help rebuild a basic living structure for these families to live in once again. A base will support these families basic needs allowing them to look in the long term future of rebuilding their businesses.

Ya sea disfrutando de una clase de surf / cocina local / cervezas en Donde Tiolas, una cómoda noche frente a la playa en Las Arenas o un picnic en las palapas donde Totos, la belleza es impresionante, la buena vibra y la sensación de estar en familia.
Hoy, un evento trágico causo destrucción total a los lugares donde viven y trabajan nuestros amigos. Solo quedan piezas quemadas en la playa de lo que una vez existió donde Tiola, Toto y la familia de Niña Carmen hay llamado hogar por mas de 40 años. Estas familias no tienen mas que lo que tienen puesto con ellos. Todas las pertenencias fueron consumidas por el fuego.
Les escribimos hoy pidiéndole su apoyo en fondos de emergencia para ayudar a estas familias a reconstruir sus vidas en El Palmarcito. Los fondos inmediatos se destinarán a proporcionar alimentos, ropa, agua, vivienda y pago a los trabajadores que ayuden con la recosntruccion. El objetivo de estos fondos es ayudar a construir una estructura de vida básica para que estas familias sigan la vida y traten de olvidar esta mala experiencia. Una parte respaldará las necesidades básicas de estas familias, permitiéndoles mirar hacia el futuro y luego poder reconstruir sus negocios.
