In these last 10 Days/Nights, The Ahmed Family will be raising money for 'AL-MUSTAFA WELFARE TRUST' to Plant 100 Olive Trees as part of a ‘Sadaqah’ Project.
Why Olive Trees?
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Eat olive oil and use it on your hair and skin, for it comes from a blessed tree.” (Al-Tirmidhi, 1775)
The prophet ﷺ said: “The best charity is that given in Ramadhan.” [At-Tirmidhi].
“And a tree (olive) that springs forth from Mount Sinai, that grows oil, and (it is a) relish for the eaters.” [Surah al-Muminoon 23:20].
We aim to raise £1,000 before the end of Ramadan!
That sounds like a lot doesn't it? But if 100 people gave £10 each, or 50 people gave £20 each, we will be able to reach our target In Sha Allah.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah said: ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’” (Bukhari, 5073; Muslim, 993.)
A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "O Allah's Apostle! Which charity is the most superior in reward?" He replied, "The charity which you practice while you are healthy, niggardly and afraid of poverty and wish to become wealthy. Do not delay it to the time of approaching death and then say, 'Give so much to such and such, and so much to such and such.' And it has already belonged to such and such (as it is too late)." (Bukhari, 2:500)
Imagine the only thing standing between you and Jannah could be just £5! with only a small amount, you can be a part of a big change!
