Scoops is all POOPS
Donation protected
Hey guys, I'm here to talk about my very good cat Scoops!! She is....massively jammed full of poop. Which, honestly, sounds like joke but it's actually become a pretty serious problem.
This has come up a couple times in the past, and despite dietary changes to hopefully prevent it from happening again, here we are! Scoops needs to go in for a 'deobstipation' surgery to basically scoop all the poops out of her. We've already tried medication and outpatient procedures to help clear her up, but it isn't working. She's likely going to have to spend a few days in the hospital, which is the bulk of the $2,000+ price I've been quoted for her. I'm already around $1,300 in for the outpatient procedures we've already done, so this is hitting me pretty hard financially.
At this point, I will likely put it on a credit card so she can get the help she needs, but I've been hesitant to go ahead with it because of how long it will leave me with no financial safety net as I pay off the debt afterwards. This seems like terrible reason to put off helping my lil buddy, even if it makes more financial and practical sense. So, if you've enjoyed some Scoop pictures or even had the privilege of petting this terrible beast, I'd love some help with the costs of literally saving her butt.
Thanks for any help anyone can offer!! My screamy child thanks you too!
