Help Change The Lives Of Underprivileged Teenagers

Phoenix Academy is a charity organisation (CS083602018) which was established in 2018 to empower underprivileged teenagers in Africa through education and football. Like all charities, the academy relies heavily on donations to help achieve its mission to create life changing opportunities for underprivileged teenagers.

 

In May 2022, the Academy will be hosting the Annual showcase event in Accra, Ghana. The aim of the event is to achieve full athlete scholarships for underprivileged teenagers to study and play football abroad. Teenagers from across Africa are invited to the showcase to play football matches in front of coaches, who can award full student-athlete scholarships.

 

The showcase events so far have changed the lives of 10 underprivileged teenagers in Africa. Isaac Bawa was one of the first teenagers to gain a full student-athlete scholarships from the 2018 phoenix academy’s showcase, to listen to his journey so far in full please click on this link .

 

The 2022 annual showcase in May aims to secure even more student-athlete scholarships for the underprivileged teenagers in Africa by increasing the number of teenagers playing in the showcases. Making the showcase event larger, comes with increased costs, please consider making a donation to help the academy achieve its mission of changing the lives of the teenagers through this event. The donations will help towards the following: Hiring of venue and football pitch, accommodation, mattresses, transportation, food and drinks, equipment ie cones, bibs, footballs etc and recording of showcase games (to use to create opportunities for the teenagers after the showcase).
