Loss of home in Cameron Peak Fire

Donation protected
Twenty five years ago my dad, Clint Young, moved our family to Storm Mountain. He spent the first six years building our forever home with his bare hands. He hand picked every tree and pealed every log. This was the start of his livelihood, his business, Knot Log Homes, building beautiful log cabins. His renowned craftsmanship has become very admired throughout the community of Storm Mountain and beyond.
Clint and his wife Stacey raised 5 children here. We grew up learning to appreciate the smalls things and the value of hard work and family. Our home is the embodiment of all these things.
On October 14th, 2020 our parents were put on emergency evacuation. They packed as much as they could and even helped neighbors to move some of their possessions. On October 22nd they received permission to go to their property. What they found was devastation. Everything burned to the ground. Not only was it the home they lived in, it was the business my dad built. The garage/shop contained most of the tools and necessities to make a living and it's all gone.
Our family has gone through many hardships. We are strong and will get through this especially with the help, love, and support from our friends, family and the community. If you are able to help please know there aren't parents more deserving than them.
