UPDATE: This campaign has received an overwhelming amount of support and at the persistence of many who have donated, I've updated this campaign with a new goal to completely replace Patricia's car. Please consider sharing and contributing to our new goal!!
Hello Community and Friends of Patricia Garcia,
Patricia has been managing a great deal of personal adversity lately and now she is having issues with her sole means of transportation. On top of the many health and family hurdles she faces, it has become increasingly difficult for her to get to work. Her car recently broke down and the vehicle she is now driving is in bad shape. My goal is to raise enough money to help Patricia fix her car.
Minimally, her vehicle needs a new transmission. However, she cannot afford to obtain a professional diagnosis, so it could be worse! The smallest donation to help get Patricia’s car repaired could at least ensure she has a safe and reliable vehicle to get to work every day. I want to do more to help her than I can do alone and that is why I’m leaning on the support of our mutual friends to help fill in the gap.
I’ve started a GoFundMe for our dear friend and guardian angel, Patricia Garcia. She is a devoted, single mother to five children and caring grandmother to more. She works tirelessly at her job to support her growing family and is the sole provider for her household. She always comes to work with a smile on her face and a heart of gold despite the stress her health and finances cause her. You would never know that Patricia’s health isn’t great, suffering daily from the lingering effects of a house fire that almost cost her and her children their lives years ago.
