Pinewood Church of Christ Rebuild

Hello, my name is Joshua Covington and I am a member of Pinewood Church of Christ. Unfortunately, the reason behind this account is disaster has struck our little community once again. On Saturday, August 21, 2021, a flood hit Pinewood and surrounding areas that none of us expected. Countless people lost lots of valuables and personal property. Several people also lost lives due to this storm. We’re trying our best to look towards the future and start the rebuild process again. The same thing happened to our church back 2010 when the May flood hit. Everyone rallied together and we built back our church thanks to the help of lots of locals. We know this is going to take some time and lots of effort but we are excited to see the future for this church and our congregation. All of the men of the church met and decided that it would be a good idea to set up this fundraiser. If you feel the need to donate to help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated and we will never be able to thank you enough for the kind acts. If not, understandable.
