Hi, my name is Michael Huck. I am 18 years old and I am an aspiring commercial pilot.
Ever since I was a small child I have wanted to become a pilot and I am now so close to my dream!
I am currently studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry A-levels. And recently I was accepted at L3 Airline Academy to train to become a pilot. The training costs about £100,000 and not a single penny is provided by the government or airlines to assist in the cost of the training. Therefore I have to fund this whole amount myself within the next 6 months.
And I would be very grateful to anyone who is able to assist me in achieving my end goal. And I hope to be flying you all over the world one day in the future.
Last September my older sister lost her battle against Cystic Fibrosis and sadly passed away after 22 years of struggling with the condition. After spending much time in hospital she was granted a life saving double lung translplant which gave her an additional two years of life. However, sadly she contracted a life threatening bug and within a week of she passed away. I would like the opportunity to live my life to the full and follow my dream as she so desperately wanted for me.
