Thank you for visiting this page and showing interest in our endeavour to help those in need.
We are a group of University students and young adults, coming together to help the forgotten people of Afghanistan, as they recover from ongoing terror attacks. Our mission is to raise funds to provide relief for the families who were impacted by the recent bombings in Kabul, Afghanistan. We aspire to help approximately 50 families that have been directly impacted by these terror attacks, most of whom have lost their sole breadwinners in the household.
You can contribute to this great cause by donating here, to help us reach our goal of $15, 000. The funds raised will go towards providing food supply, shelter and medical assistance. We have started this initiative because our team strongly believes in the support of people like yourself for a collective effort to this cause. Any contribution is appreciated and will help in lessening the financial suffering of those impacted, the least we can do from this far.
Your donations will be sent to Ab Dullah living in Kabul. He is our trusted associate and a former co-worker of our team member. Ab Dullah was in close proximity during the explosion and lost several friends and co-workers. He spent days in the hospital supporting the victims and their families. The funds collected will be transferred directly to families of the victims and will distributed based on their needs. Our team has a list of all the victims whom we will be supporting but cannot post it here due to breach of their privacy. We will be maintaining close relations to ensure the funds are going to the respective families.
In addition to donations as a means to reaching our goal, we will be hosting a Banquet on Saturday September 9th. So, join us with our special guest Martin Parnell, Canada’s marathon man, as he shares his experiences in Bamyian Afghanistan, for a night that will showcase the history and culture of Afghanistan with music, art, food, and performances. Tickets for the banquet will be $50 and will be available for purchase mid-July.
