Pierre Tremblay funeral, travel & moving funds

Our dad fell ill 3 weeks ago, he ended up getting tested and came back positive for COVID-19. As the week went on he continued to get worse. He was put on a nebulizer, an inhaler, medications and an oxygen machine at home with pnemonia in both lungs. However, he was home alone to monitor and treat himself. We dont know why he wasnt hospitalized. Steph & I became worried when we hadn't heard back from him via text at all on Wednesday and wasnt answering any of our calls. I called his doctor begging him to check in on our dad, however we never heard back from the doctor nor did he go by dad's house to check on him. Dad ended up contacting us via text shortly after 6:27pm EST, he was very sleepy he kept saying. We continued to worry since he didnt seem like himself. At 9:01pm & 9:08pm he sent 911 messages to a friend asking them to call 911, by the time they they responded to the messages it was 9:35pm (she was at work) 911 was called by 9:38pm. He was found unresponsive in his house.
Pierre Tremblay passed away the evening of March 3rd unexpectedly in his home all alone from Cardiac Arrest caused by lack of oxygen for so long shutting down his organs. He leaves behind his 2 daughters, Stephanie & Amanda & 6 grandkids that all reside in Minnesota and are struggling massively with the devastating loss of their father/Pepere and being so far away.
Pierre has always cherished the friends & relationships he has made in his hometown of New Bedford throughout his life. His kids would like to honor his wishes of having a service for everyone back east to get the chance to say goodbye to Pierre.
We are opening this gofundme to help with all the costs of bringing Pierre's family to him from Minnesota so they can say goodbye and bring home all of their dad's lifelong treasures he's collected over the years. History was very important to our dad. To say he had a lot of "treasures" is an understatement. Its going to take a lot of time & funds to get all of his stuff to Minnesota.
