Pierre Surgery

We have known Jodie & Pierre for the past six years while working with Sientra. As an accomplished RN in her former life, and a successful surgical rep in the breast space for many years, she took many of us under her wing providing priceless advice; both professional and personal over the years. Her warm and bubbly spirit should be an inspiration to everyone who has the pleasure of meeting her. Jodie has a heart of gold, and always goes above and beyond for anyone. It was very clear from the outset the special relationship her and her husband Pierre share together. This is truly a “one of a kind”....a mutual affection most dream of finding but rarely do! They share a committed life to one another. Recently, Pierre was diagnosed with an extremely aggressive metastatic brain tumor called Glioblastoma. This devestating news came very close to his 59th birthday. The treatment is grueling, the operation extremely risky and the prognosis questionable. Knowing Jodie & Pierre, they will likely forge ahead and secure the “best in the business” to attempt surgical intervention of his brain tumor. Pierre is under the care of a world renowned Neurosurgeon who doesn’t accept insurance, which means the out of pocket expense will be significant. This is something that no one can possibly fathom in a lifetime.

(A little background on Pierre and I... “We met on match.com in July 2002. Yes that was the thing before Tinder and Bumble. We knew our relationship was something very special as it grew daily, smooth sailing, no games, no ups and downs, just grew into love very quickly. We married and have been by each other’s side ever since. We don’t have any children, but we are ok with that because we had each other and that’s all we need to be happy. Pierre was a chef, so I haven’t even so much as made a coffee in 16 years. Every day when I come home from work, he comes down the stairs to give me a kiss and carry my purse inside. He cooks the most amazing meals and makes sure all of my needs are met in the most unselfish way. Pierre is my everything! Because of this, I cannot imagine the thought of life without him. Pierre I cherish your friendship, and good thoughts, love and encouragement!”)
