Tax deductible
Contribute to a fundraiser benefiting Ukraine relief efforts, hosted by ICA LA. This event features a cyanotype textile print workshop with artist Tanya Brodsky, a reading by artist Julia Tcharfas of Yevgenia Belorusets recent book Lucky Breaks, and a film program contributed by curator Inga Lace featuring works by Oleksiy Radynski, Dana Kavelina, Uli Golub, and Mykola Ridnyi, together with Soviet-era Ukrainian animation by Yevgeny Sivokon. Guests will be invited to purchase baked goods from diverse bakers and chefs, flowers by downtown florist Lenita by Grita, and enjoy a special music playlist produced by Kyiv-based folk band ЩукаРиба (ShchukaRyba). The fundraiser is a celebration of Ukrainian food, culture, and history, and is organized by curator Asha Bukojemsky together with artist Tanya Brodsky. All proceeds raised will go directly to Razom, an organization that has been helping Ukraine since Russia's invasion in 2014.
