Pierel Family Harvey Relief

My name is AJ and I'm from Houston, Texas. I met Lynnette when we worked together in CCISD and remained friends ever since. Anyone that knows Lynnette knows that she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.  My friend Lynnette and her family -Marcel and sons Andrew (3) and Grayson (1) live in Dickinson, Texas. This area was hit particularly hard by Hurricane Harvey. On Saturday, August 27th, Lynette and her kids were trapped in their house for almost 2 days as flood water rushed into their home caused by Hurricane Harvey.  During those 2 days, Marcel climbed fences, attempted hitch hiking, and contacted any law enforcement he could to get back to his family. The water was too high and law enforcement was either inundated with calls or could not find a clear way to get to his family. Finally, a friend of Lynnette's was able to get to their family when the water receded and they were reunited with Marcel on dry land.

Upon return from their home, 2-3 feet of water entered their house and garage. Memories, furniture, kitchenware, Marcel's car and more were saturated in lake water and beginning to mold. The road is long, but they are resilient. They are currently in need of funds to recover their home and provide essentials for their family. Donated money will cover the costs of rebuilding infrastructure of the house (replacing insulation, dry wall, etc.), replacing kitchenware and essentials, and possibly provide funds towards a new car.

When we reach our goal, the Pierels will have direct access to donations and funds will go directly to the Pierel family to begin thier journey to recovery. Thank you for considering donation!
