Piece of a Pie

Many of you know we opened our storefront two years ago (2020) and were confronted with the COVID-19 Pandemic and all the challenges that came with it.

You showed us your dedication and commitment to us, and after this, we were able to reopen our doors later that same year. Following the departure of our retail partners that next year you rallied around us and showed us that we had a product you believed in. Again earlier this year, when we began to see the impact of closures and the cost of ingredients increased, and we were afraid of closing, you showed us you cared deeply about what we offer.

Unfortunately, it would seem that this year wasn't entirely done with us. Just as things felt like they were turning that final corner, Hurricane Ian made landfall. This massive storm devastated central Florida, and while some got lucky, it would seem we did not. While the damages to the structure of our facility were minimal, the resulting water damage will lead us to face difficulties reopening. Thus we are brought back to you.

You have been the deciding factor in many of our decisions. You have proven to us that we provide not only a product and service you care about but a haven for diet-restricted individuals to find treats they can enjoy. These reasons are why we are reaching out to you one more time to try and get the funding we need to cover the necessary repairs caused by the water damage to our store. Also, you will be allowing us to have extra cash to purchase the ingredients to produce our products. This money will also allow us to pay our overhead so that we can keep the lights on, secure our facility for at least another month, and pay our exceptional employees so they can get back to providing you with the treats you love.
