Pickles Road to Recovery

****UPDATE****
Pickles has again fallen ill and requires more veterinary attention, I originally stopped donations but have had to re open to cover this next episode. She will most likely require a full body ultra sound to ensure everything internally is working as it should and also have her blood samples examined in a lab which will hopefully prevent further medical attention.  Her recovery is going to be lengthy so there will be on going medications and regular check ups as she is very sensitive to a range of different products and needs to have constant supervision to ensure she is going okay. I would greatly appreciate any support that anyone can provide me with so I can get Pickles back to full health. Thank-you again everyone.

A year and 2 months ago my special precious friend Pickles collasped in the back yard, I rushed her to the vet and she was then kept in an oxygen tent for 3 days, X-rays and bloods were taken and she then had surgery. She got diagnosed with Aspirational Pneumonia and Brachycelpic Syndrome, they operated on her elongated palette and her nostrils.

Getting told she might not been able to make it really hit everyone hard but I did anything and everything for her to stay alive and she did it, she came out stronger then ever.

But... my worst nightmare has come true. Today 28th of August it has happened all over again but 100 times worse. I Never thought this would happened to pickles again she has been nothing but the happiest pup on earth. 

This afternoon I came home to no noise of Pickles, normally I would hear her scratching at the door, running around in circles but I didn't I heard nothing.. I knew then something wasn't right. I walked down the hallway looked up and saw vomit and poo all over the couch, yelling out pickles pickles and then I started screaming pickles pickles I turned around and saw pickles starring right at me, she was shaking, she looked so weak she could barley stand up. I picked her up and rushed her to the vet, she flopped down on my seat.. I didn't know if she was dead or not. She is in an oxygen tent, X-rays and bloods are being taken and more, she will be staying over night and not sure what else will have to happen. 

For everyone that knows pickles she has been through a lot and no dog should ever feel this way. This time I won't be able to do this on my own otherwise we will have to say goodbye to my special friend. She means the absolute world to me and a lot of other people out there. She's my best friend and the strongest pup I know and has so much more life to live, I hope pickles will be as strong as she was last time and will be able to get through this, she will need a lot of love and support. You're kind Gesture will mean the world to myself and pickles.
