Piarist Fathers Puerto Rico Help

The Piarist Fathers are an order of Catholic priests that take a fourth vow of poverty and serve the Church by adminstering effectively to the educational needs of children, especially the poor.  The foundation of the Order is built on poverty and on helping others.  The Piarist Province of the United States and Puert Rico have schools, parishes and a seminary in Puerto Rico and work with thousands of people.

The Piarists help serve some of the people with the greatest need.  Above you can begin to get an idea of the devastation to our ministries and schools.  We are still unable to retrieve communication from some of our ministries and people.  As an Order that takes a vow of poverty, we must humbly reach out and ask for your compassion and financial generosity to allow us to rebuild and continue to be able to help others, especially those in greatest need.

The need now is great and almost overwhelming.  100% of funds raised will go to our Piarist Fathers ministries in Puerto Rico and help to rebuild and restore the seminary, schools and parishes that touch the lives of so many in Puerto Rico.  Our need to begin the recovery process is now.

As an Order, we have recieved the Platinum level of transparency from Guide Star.   Guide Star provides detailed information about nonprofits, including religious organizations.  Guide Star is  considered the gold standard when it comes to holding nonprofits to accountability and transparency.  We encourage you to review our web site piarist.info or piaristchallenge.com.
