This is the story of Phyllis. She has been a Registered Nurse for over thirty years. Helping people from all walks of life to get better and reach their fullest potential.
This Summer, Phyllis became ill and found herself in the role of patient vs nurse. She was diagnosed with Renal cancer. She underwent major surgery to have her kidney removed. She was also having problems with severe back pain. It was discovered that the cancer had spread to her spine as well. She then underwent major surgery to her spine. Currently she is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Tests have shown that the cancer is in an area of her lung and abdomen as well. It will take several months to complete all of the necessary treatments and potential further surgeries.
The purpose of this campaign is to raise enough money to keep her household running, and provide funds for medical care and medical co pays for the duration of her treatment so she can focus on the job of getting well.
Phyllis is also the mother of two children, ages 10 and 17. Phyllis is the primary bread winner for her family. Shortly after she became ill, her husband was laid off from his job as well.
Please help us to reach our goal and keep her family running while she focuses on getting well and getting back to helping others.
