Phillystrong!! Help Phillip get back on his Feet!

From the day he was born, 17 years ago, Phillip Sozio has brought much joy to so many! Philly, as he is affectionately known as, has grown into a compassionate, loving, young man. A young man who will jump from a table in a restaurant to assist an elderly couple or carry packages when he sees others struggling. He does these things, not for recognition or reward, but because he is that beautiful a person!

In a single instance of horrendous,  this beautiful young man was almost taken from us! He would not only have been taken from his Mother Erin, Father Scott, Sister Sara, the rest of his family who adore him, his friends who cherish him, and his teachers and coaches who see him as a shining example of what a young man should be. He also would have been taken from the people he hasn't even met yet... the elderly couples he will eventually open the door for and assist to their table, the overwhelmed moms that are struggling to carry a child while pushing a grocery cart that he will help, the people he hasn't even met yet whose lives will change for the better upon meeting him!

Now, through God's Grace, Philly was NOT taken from us... as he says, "I am still here and I am BLESSED!" The initial concerns were for Philly's life, and then that he didn't lose his leg. Through 4 surgeries and 350 staples/stitches, and Philly's sheer determination, things are heading in a positive direction. The mantra PHILLY STRONG has become not only a saying on a wristband, but a goal for which all of us should strive to achieve... to be as STRONG as Philly, to be as DETERMINED as Philly, to be as GOOD as Philly!

But the road ahead will be paved with challenges and obstacles. There will be several more surgeries, doctor visits, hospital stays and exhaustive rehabilitation.... the cost of which will be astronomical! So we humbly ask for your support to help ease the financial burden that lies ahead. Please share this link with your family, friends, and co-workers.
