BLACK WOMEN'S MARCH - ADJUST YOUR CROWN
This year, organizer India Fenner is bringing back Philadelphia Black Women's March for it's 3rd annual year! This year’s theme: Adjust Your Crown. Year one was a huge success, with over _ participants. Year two gathered even more voices, including the support of Councilwoman Cindy Bass from the 8th of Philadelphia City Council. Our goal is to continue the successful impact this March has created within the city of Philadelphia. But we need your help!
On September 14, 2019 a community of black women and allies will be marching down the streets of Philadelphia, starting from City Hall. Our voices will be loud and clear as we march for the liberation, encouraging and recognition of black women. We are proud to have partnered with various Councilmen and Councilwomen of Philadelphia , to further increase this year’s impact.
Donations made towards the Philadelphia Black Women’s March allow black women marchers to feel safe and celebrated on this day. (Insert sentence about HOW marchers will be safe and celebrated. Maybe a specific line about how donations will go towards permits that allow for a safely mapped out marching path. Or how supplies will be purchased to make signs and T-shirt’s. Healthy food and beverages options for women. Tabling supplies for resources presented by various organizations. We are deeply appreciative of any donations, no matter how small. We hope to have a prosperous and uplifting movement. Most importantly we hope to have your support too.
