We are normally a very private family and our circle runs small, however, we have come to a point in our lives where we are reaching out to family and friends for some support. For those of you who are not aware my dad has been in the ICU for a few weeks battling a bacterial infection that has covered his entire neck and traveled down into his chest. He has been on a breathing ventilator and feeding tubes for his entire stay and is looking at up to another month in the ICU. He has had 5 surgeries and still has more planned as he continues to fight this infection. He was first taken to Marian Medical center but soon had to be transferred to a specialty research hospital in LA. Due to the severity of the situation me and my family have traveled with him and put a hold on our lives to be with him every moment that we can. We are asking friends and family now to help us in our time of need to help pay for medical expenses, as well as regular expenses since we all have stopped working for the time being. For those of you who know my dad, you know that he is a strong willed man and that he would do anything for his family.
