In loving memory of Juanito

Juan Lopez, a son, brother, husband, father and dear friend passed away suddenly from a cardiac arrest November 6th of this year. He leaves behind a devoted and loving wife of 17 years, Beth, (although she’s been in love with him since she was 16!), two sons Tony and Josh, his daughter Breana and the light of his life, Catie, his 5 year old daughter. There are no words to properly describe how heartbroken our family is by this loss.
Juan was a native resident of San Diego, California, where he lived most of his life. He had recently relocated to Columbus, Ohio where the rest of our extended family resides. He is survived by loving parents, 3 sisters and 3 brothers, as well as their spouses, children and grandchildren.
We knew and will always remember Juan, as a man of faith, steadfast in his identity in Christ, in-spite of all circumstances and limitations he faced.
Philippians 4:12 “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty, I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.”
This is how we remember Juan. He had once had it all and at another point in time, lost it all. Nevertheless, his faith and joy were literally pillars of strength and an all-encompassing peace from God. He made everything out of nothing and his life, being a testament of resilience and hard work, is what our family will forever remember and cherish.
