Philadelphia Sandwich Company is under attack!

In September 2023 Flying Bassett brewery (FBB) management announced to the public and remaining staff that the business would be closing indefinitely on the 31st of October, 2023. This was the result of the head brewer and his wife (the accountant for the brewery enterprise) submitting their resignations.. Robert Gangon (brewery owner) stated that it was all part of a "5 year plan" for their business. Philadelphia Sandwich Company (PSC) had an existing sublease with FBB in effect from March of 2022 through April 2031. Despite saying it was part of a long term plan, at the time of the announcement and effective date, FBB did not have a buyer in place to take over the remaining 8 years of the lease or an agreement with the landlord (720 Ray LLC) to re-assign the remaining terms of the lease with PSC. 720 Ray LLC would only re-assign with a new lease and new terms, the first being a $5,000.00/month increase in rent. After weeks of negotiating with 720 Ray LLC, FBB and the new tenant and buyer of FBB's assets (The Perch), the PSC representative made it clear that they would not sign a new lease with the rent increase and the other changes to the existing lease imposed by 720 Ray, LLC. On October 31st, 2023 Sara Cotton (owner of FBB) drafted a lock out notice, served the PSC owner on that same day, and screwed the doors closed. When the owner of PSC arrived at the business he opened the vandalized front door, entered using his key, and called Gilbert police. After 2 hours of questioning, the PSC owner was placed under arrest and charged with 2 counts of burglary. The PSC Owner was in custody for 26 hours. When he was released and his phone return he received a text message from the owner of the Perch that she entered into a new lease from the 720 Ray LLC and a deal had been made. FBB ( and Perch) seized and is currently in possession of over $100,000.00 in PSC equipment. We are asking the community for help so we can continue our fight in court and get our property back so we can opperate again
