ΦΚΨ 30-Hour Fast for the EANC
Tax deductible
Food insecurity is a very prevalent issue in the Easton, PA community. With a poverty rate 9% higher than the national poverty rate, many Easton citizens are unsure of when their next meal will come. In order to fight the issue of food insecurity in Easton, there are eleven community food pantries in the city. Starting Sunday, December 3rd at noon, the brothers of Phi Kappa Psi at Lafayette College are participating in a 30-hour fast in an effort to raise awareness on the issue of food insecurity in America while also raising funds for one of Easton's food pantries, found at the Easton Area Neighborhood Center. The day prior, some of the brothers will be going to the EANC for a service project with their Urban Garden.
With your help, we can help provide this food pantry with the funds necessary to replenish their shelves and help put food on the tables of those that need it the most.
