PBS CSU Nu Chapter Tailgate 2018

GOMAB my distinguished Brothers,

 

This correspondance is in regard to the funds required of each of us to make this year’s tailgate successful for this year’s CSU homecoming.

 

When we first established the $100.00 assessment for each Brother, we was trying to facilitate 3 new aspects:

 

Fish fry fundraiser
Mentoring program
T-shirt paraphernalia for the Brothers that made the assessment.
 

We can not facilitate any of that, but the mentoring program just may happen without any funding from NCAC.

 

In accordance with this change, the assessment for the Brothers for the 2018 CSU Homecoming Is:

 

$50.00 for each Brother, VIP status, food, drink and alcoholic beverages, no additional charge.

Can have 2 guest that will pay $10.00 each. Guest status, food and drink, Alcoholic drinks not included.

 
All other guest will pay $25.00 for food and drinks. Alcoholic drinks not included.

Our goal for the scholarship fund this year is $25,000.00. It is important that we continue this venture to encourage our youth to engage higher education. Also, if we make donations to this platform, we will not be assessed the $150.00 for the location for the tailgate. Please be advised, the two fundraising platforms mentioned above is separate from each other. A portion recognized from the tailgate will go to the scholarship fund, but we require donations to both platforms, as soon as possible!

 

Most of the decisions shown above was decided on the last teleconference. A few of the decisions were determined at the executive level.

 

Money for the food, tent, table and chairs will be sent early next week. That will deplete most of the $1,100.00 that we have in the treasury. Please don’t hesitate to contact me and/or Bro. Everett for more details on that. We require for Brothers to make their donation on the fundraising platforms to meet our commitment.

 

We also need for Brothers to confirm their room arrangements.

Greetings Distinguished Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma, Nu Chapter;

 

Spring of 2018 has sprung and we the Brothers of the Nu Chapter Alumni Council (NCAC) has begun planning for our CSU Homecoming and Tailgate party.

 

This year, we have a committee chairman Bro. Larry Folson to ensure a successful tailgate party for Homecoming. Bro Folson proudly accepted this assignment and has expressed his gratitude for the Brothers of the NCAC believing in his ability. We are hoping to experience an event that will continue to exemplify the legacy the the Brothers of Nu Chapter Has always provided. I have every confidence that we all will provide our help and support to Bro. Folson. Just as we DID last year, he will need you again this year.

 

This year, we are hoping to develop 2 new events during the CSU Homecoming:

1.    Fish Fry for the arriving participants of the CSU Homecoming

2.    Mentoring for the under graduates

 

With the above mentioned events in mind, as well as the traditional tailgate party, we are asking that each Brother provide $100.00 to facilitate our goal.
