Phantom Opera Singer - SerenAID & CD

Popping up around Perth as the Phantom Opera Singer (and one half of the soprano duo DivaLicious), I have identified that there is a real need for live musical entertainment to cheer people up during these challenging times - and even beyond this pandemic. People suffering with depression, cancer, and other serious ailments whereby they cannot get out to see a show or even afford a live performance feel a real benefit being serenaded to. They feel special, cared for and valued. This live, personalized musical experience is a wonderful gift to receive - and to give.
I have now sung for several hundred people during this unprecedented pandemic time, performing at least 15 public performances from 15 mins to over two hours for free as my way of helping the community - from retirement villages to those in need (cancer sufferers, cystic fibrosis sufferer, depression, loneliness, etc). To see their faces light up and bring joy into their day and then to have feedback from carers that my performances have had a lasting effect and brought these people out of themselves, is priceless! I want to do more of this - but I need your help.
Whilst I have been singing for free during Covid-19, I am now asking for whatever contribution you feel able to give so that I may continue this valued musical work, help people's mental health, serve the wider community, and open this up for other performers to be engaged and entertain the community with equal professionalism, musicianship and appeal. In return - you will receive my new solo CD as my way of saying "Thank You!".
Funds are needed for two main areas:
1) To set up a not for profit organisation called "SerenAID" - Lifting spirits, touching souls. This is so that I (and other performers) can continue to provide this free or subsidize musical out-reach service to the community in all areas to help with everyone's mental health - specifically performing to those who cannot afford to or unable to experience live performance due to their health. I am currently writing business plan for this and already have experienced board members ready to support me in this project.
2) To record a solo CD and USB of all the beautiful arias, musical theatre songs and popular classics I have been singing to give this to those individuals in need (and you) - for a lasting musical experience and a memento. Songs will include: Ave Maria - Panis Angelicus - Pie Jesu - Song to the Moon - O mio babbino caro - Vissi d’arte - Si, mi chiamano Mimi - Ch’il bel sogno di Doretta - If I Loved You - You’ll Never Walk Alone - You Raise Me Up - Amazing Grace - Lascia ch’io pianga - When I Am Laid - She Moved Through The Fair and a couple more.
Both these two items will cost money and as I am currently on stand down, cruises and gigs cancelled, and my husband's photographic gallery has closed, I am hoping you will support me in helping to cover the cost of these two large projects I am currently undertaking.
