Peyton's Page (Peyton Bundy) Memorial

Peyton Bundy: A cheerful 9 month-old beautiful perfect baby boy was tragically diagnosed with brain cancer. His prognosis is the worst of the worst. HE had 3 brain tumors when the first MRI was came back on September 6th, 2013. A biopsy and drain was placed soon after, the neurosurgeon came back with more bad news, the cancer has coated the entire surface of his brain "sugar coating" is what they called it. Unable to diagnose the type of cancer with the tissue they collected a second surgery was scheduled for September 10th, 2012. Surgery did not go as expected, he lost a lot of blood, and had brain damage from the swelling. We didn't think that he was going to make it but he is a fighter and pulled through. Even with the surgery his cancer was too far advanced. The pathology gave an answer that we did not want: Peyton has AT/RT. A cancer that is non responsive to chemotherapy and Peyton is too too little to have radiation. The doctors were only able to give us a little more time, we came home with hospice on September 17th and have been spending every last second with him since. My husband and I are now both on FMLA and have no income coming in. This would help with all of Peyton's medical bills and end of life cares/expenses while allowing us the precious gift of time. Because every last second spent with our precious sweet baby boy is a special time, time we will never get another chance to have. By helping with these expenses we would be able to stay by his side for his last days on this Earth. We would then use every last penny to help with his funeral expenses, wow how difficult it is to admit. Admit that there is nothing more that can be done. From that point on I want to make a memorial fund to help others that face terrible, devastating, and awful life changing situations like ours. This terrible ordeal has turned our lives upside down and inside out, and I want everyone remember Peyton forever. In the future there should be a fund that helps families like ours.
