I have asked Facebook friends for prayers , & would appreciate if I could elaborate. As of This year Peter has started on puffers ,then oxygen last week of March. He has pulmonary fibrosis & is fastly progressing..now in wheelchair & walker..   Double lung transplant is now his only options . He has much testing done , & has now had his first bout of testing and meeting with the surgeon..that was Dec 16 due  to oxygen needed we need to go to Toronto by non medical transport which costs $600.    As of January 13-17 we need to stay in Toronto  hotel for  our 2nd doctor appointments a week more of testing,,  at hotel  we need oxygen set up from company ,wheelchair and we will need  another $600 transport  taxis to and from hospital hotel accommodations, food . We will then return with the understanding we must go back for 2 more different testing . Then return for final call which we must be prepared for up to 3 months wait before and 3 months after stay in Toronto .   This all come as a shock that all must come out of pocket costs  and he has more then enough stress mentally preparing  for this next step in his life  thank you   God bless
  We have now completed our week stay in Toronto hospital for extra testing for lung transplant, and are ready for our next stage of the process. We must now start a physio program to strengthen legs & muscles. Also we must start a  very extensive program of drugs that are only obtained from government funding. This is to help Peter to be able to sustain his existing condition from progressing, so he may (,God willing ) make the journey to the lung transplant. As I understand, this is the plan for 4-6 weeks until the hospital team inform us of our next  proceedings. This as I understand is  to travel back to Toronto for at least 3 week of 3 times a week physio at the hospital and clinic visits . Hopefully at this point , we will know our next step .
