Peter Cellucci's Road to Remission

CaringBridge for Peter

On Friday, December 11, 2020, The Cellucci Family received some heartbreaking news. Seven-year-old Peter Cellucci was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.  Anyone who knows the Cellucci's - Dan and Tricia and Annie (13), Katie (10), Peter (7) and Norah (4) - knows that they are a family of profound, authentic faith.  They know that God works, that He does nothing in vain and that  He will take care of their sweet boy.

For those who have met Peter, you know he is a good boy and he loves God so much. Please join their family and friends in fervent prayer for a miracle  and complete healing for Peter.

We give thanks to God for a successful surgery to remove the tumor. Peter continues to be a strong and resilient boy and his parents and siblings are amazing cheerleaders and supporters.  The days are long for all of them as Dan and Tricia take turns caring for the older kids at home and tending to Peter in the hospital. They are very fortunate to have so many close family and friends who are also aiding them during this time.

Although the surgery is complete the road to remission will be long. Starting in a few weeks Peter will begin a grueling 6 week marathon of radiation followed by an even more challenging regimen of chemotherapy for the next year.

As you can imagine this situation will cause much disruption and many unplanned expenses to the Cellucci household. Gas money, parking passes, extended overnight accommodations, baby sitters, meals, disruption to work and other unplanned expenses.

The road will be long and the road will be costly.

The outpouring of support through prayer, meals, kind messages and unique gifts for Annie, Katie and Norah have been amazing. We now invite you to consider supporting Peter's recovery by making a monetary gift. Together we can help eliminate the stress and worry that both Dan and Tricia are feeling about the financial strain an unexpected illness such as this can cause on a household. If you prefer not to make a gift through the GoFundMe page, you can send checks payable to the Cellucci Family Fund and mail it to 640 W Woodland Ave. Springfield PA 19064. Thank you for your continued blessings to the Cellucci family.

Sincerely,
Team Peter
