Pete's Pub Staff needs our help.
90% of our staff have been displaced, mostly to Nassau. Most of them had to flee their home with children in the middle of the storm. All staff are now accounted for and safe for the time being.
Our staff is beloved to us. They grill the freshest seafood available with love. They meet us as the bar with the brightest smiles. Now, they are either in shelters, staying with family or trying to rent and start over.
We have a multi-pronged purpose to our goal. We want them safe and secure and home as soon as possible. This includes helping to fund their current room and board, finding stable housing, schooling for their kids and ultimately securing housing for them here on Abaco so all of our lives can begin our new normal.
We are Pete, Greg & Heather Johnston the owner and operators of Pete's Pub in Little Harbour on the island of Abaco. We have been able to distribute some well needed cash to our staff members and are also raising capital to start building homes for them to live in. We have set up a US bank account for this purpose only at TD Bank.
