Pete Ybarra’s Burial

Donation protected

Hello
I am Amanda Lopez (De Leon), aunt/Tia to Austin, Alex, DJ and Elizabeth Ybarra. I share this on their behalf and with a broken heart. On the early morning of October 16th, our beloved Peter Ybarra was taken from us unexpectedly.
The family is in absolute shock and saddened by this tragic and sudden loss.

He leaves behind his parents: Amanda & Ramiro Ybarra, Siblings: Rick and Diana, Children: Austin, Alex, DJ & Elizabeth. Along with tons of nieces and nephews, in laws, family and friends.

As most of you know, Pete hasn’t always had it easy. With 2 heartbreaking losses in his life. He lost his first wife, Shelley, (mother of Austin and Alex) to Wegener’s Granulomatosis. He then remarried Victoria who raised his boys along with her own, Daniel (DJ) and they had a beautiful daughter, Elizabeth, together. Unfortunately, Pete became a widower once again when Victoria passed from a sudden stroke in 2010. Pete has been juggling the roll of mother and father ever since.

But even through all that loss, Pete still managed to put a smile on our faces. He touched the lives of others and would fill the room up with so much laughter with his jokes. And everyone knew how much he adored his kids. He invested so much time, love and effort into them and their success.
Now it’s our turn to give back and help his children, who have endured so much loss.
This is going to be so hard for 3 young adults and a teenager to handle financially. They are not financially prepared for something like this.

We are asking for your help in raising money to assist with funeral costs and memorial service as the family deals with this tragic loss. The remainder will go into a college fund for Elizabeth as the boys are only worried about her at the moment. There is no donation too small. Any amount will truly help!

We are also going to need assistance with necessities for his youngest, Elizabeth. Meals, water, snacks, personal items etc. If you feel led to help with that please let me know and we will make arrangements.

We understand that times are so difficult. 2020 has been one heck of a year. So if helping financially isn’t possible, we completely understand. There is still a way to help, In Prayer  and these children are going to desperately need it. There is so much Power in Prayer. Thank you to everyone in advance.

With Love,
Amanda Lopez
